Trinity Church is a metropolitan house of prayer for all; a center of worship and spiritual inquiry that seeks to embody God’s reconciling love.
Browse this website. See what you think. Is Trinity a place where you could grow?
If you have a question about the website, our church community or how to get involved, feel free to drop us a line. And please feel free to come join us on Sundays.
Trinity is a community of communities who share a common mission and core values yet we find wildly different expressions of worship and spirituality that deepen the richness and texture of our community rather than divide us.
We are not concerned about what you believe; rather we ask, "What does your belief look like?"
How can we together change the world, change the surrounding community, how can we put our belief into action?
There are a variety of opportunities that are in place through Trinity @ Buffalo and Trinity Worship
Of course, there is always room for new visions and new dreams to be the change we want to see in the world.
Children & Youth
Children and Youth Programs focus on the link between the wisdom of our ancestors' stories and the wisdom of our children's and youth's own stories. We strive to create an atmosphere that nurtures spiritual growth in an environment that is imaginative, honest, intelligent and inclusive.
All programming is rooted in the Christian faith, is progressive and unabashedly Episcopalian. Children and youth are invited to participate in worship in ways that nurture the spiritual development of the individual and the community.
As a community we have defined our core values as:
Open…as in mindedness to explore and offer a progressive and contemporary perspective on Christianity as well as welcome people with many faiths or no faith at all.
Inclusive…as in working to reduce traditional church boundaries around race, class, gender, sexuality, ethnicity and theology. We are not perfect but we are rigorous and authentic about facing our challenges.
Challenging…as in afflicting the comfortable (even when it is us) and comforting the afflicted (whether or not it is us). We seek to be authentic with one another, and invite one another to be challenged by the distance between what we say, we believe and how we live, our lives.
